ABOUT US & OUR MISSION
At The Putting Mill, our mission is to create a welcoming recreational destination in Spring Branch, Texas, where families, friends, and communities can come together to enjoy memorable experiences in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.
We are dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for all ages through our thoughtfully designed 18-hole miniature golf course, multi-tiered pickleball courts, and inviting concession area. Whether hosting birthday parties, corporate events, or casual outings, we strive to offer activities that encourage connection, laughter, and time well spent.
Rooted in the spirit and natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country, every element of The Putting Mill reflects the region’s charm, hospitality, and sense of community. Our goal is to be more than just a place to play — we aim to be a gathering space where lasting memories are made and shared for generations to come.
Here are some things we like to tell folks who visit
All of the large rocks you see throughout the venue came from this property. The excavation of the biergarten provided many of the limestone boulders now placed throughout the miniature golf course.
We collect rainwater from the clubhouse roof and the entire golf course to supply our water feature. Several holes on the course even double as water catchment areas!
You might notice three additional golf greens near our outdoor deck. These are in place for our future second golf course, which we hope to begin construction on later in 2026.
God provided our stage! In our original plans, we intended to pour a concrete stage where our current white rock stage now sits. As the team unearthed the area, a natural rock shelf was revealed - perfectly shaped like the stage you see today. There was no need to pour a new one!
Our 1935 Aermotor windmill features a 10-foot-wide fan and sits atop a wooden tower, placing the top of the mill more than 45 feet above the biergarten.
We believe every kid (young and old!) should be able to sit on a tractor. Our refurbished 1945 Farmall B tractor provides that opportunity, and makes for a great photo op.
Throughout the course, you’ll find nods to Texas caverns, Jacob’s Well, Hamilton Pool, the Texas oil industry, Texas railroad history, and much more!
